Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Göker, the solo developer behind CodeMelody. I built this app to help young kids (ages 4+) learn coding logic and music notes at the same time — through play!
The idea came from wanting to make coding education fun and accessible for children who can't read yet. Instead of text-based coding, kids use direction arrows (↑ ↓ → ← and diagonals) to play melodies and draw shapes.
What makes CodeMelody unique:
🎵 Every direction plays a different music note
🎨 Kids draw fish, rockets, cars and more using direction commands
🎹 A "guess the note" game mode for ear training
👁️ Watch & Draw mode — memorize the shape, then draw from memory!
It supports 10 languages, works completely offline, has zero ads and is totally free.
Would love your feedback — especially from parents and educators! 🤖🎵

My five year old figured out the melody buttons faster than I did, and the offline mode is a lifesaver on long car rides.

Love that it's offline and ad-free for the little ones. One thing that would really help though - adding a simple progress tracker so parents can see which games their kid has tried and maybe which direction (left/right/etc) they struggle with. Would make it easier to know what to practice together.
