I built Climb because I kept running into the same problem comparing job offers: two offers can show the exact same "total comp" number on paper and pay out completely differently in reality, depending on how the RSU grant vests. A backloaded schedule and an even one look identical on a summary line, but one of them leaves you underpaid for two years.
Climb lets you enter base, bonus, RSU grant, and vesting schedule (common presets or fully custom) for up to 3 offers side by side, then plots cumulative earned value year over year instead of just totaling it up. It also shows what you'd walk away with if you left after year 1 the number most comparisons skip entirely.

Genuinely here all day ask me anything about the assumptions behind the model, and if something looks off (especially the vesting math or growth rate handling), I want to know.
Plotted two offers with different RSU cliffs and finally saw why the bigger headline number was actually worse in year two. Really useful for back-to-back comparisons.
@ozcifttaha29558 This is exactly the moment I built it for — so glad it clicked. The headline number problem is honestly what got me annoyed enough to build this in the first place; it's wild how often a bigger TC number is actually the worse offer once you see it year by year instead of as one lump sum. Really appreciate you taking the time to actually plot two offers and share this.
Quick update — refresher grants have come up from multiple people today (rightly so, the flat year-3/4 line was bugging me too). Adding it to the roadmap as the top priority coming out of this launch — likely as either a % of base per year or a flat annual line item, so it's simple to enter without needing exact grant timing.
Also got great feedback on modeling severance/acceleration for layoff vs. quit scenarios, and an inflation-adjusted view — both going on the list too. Genuinely didn't expect this level of specific, thoughtful feedback on day one. Really appreciate everyone digging into the assumptions instead of just kicking the tires.
Keep the feedback coming today if you're trying it out — this is exactly the kind of input that makes v2 actually useful instead of just guessed at.
finally a tool that actually shows the vesting cliff instead of just flashing a big total comp number, super helpful when you're weighing offers
@resulboncokqfx This is genuinely the whole reason I built it, the big TC number hides so much about when the money actually shows up, and that's the part that actually matters when you're deciding. Really appreciate you calling that out specifically.
