Hey Product Hunt! I'm Todd, the solo developer behind Clever Tally. I built this because the invoicing space has a weird problem: every "free" tool is really just a trial in disguise. You sign up thinking it's free, then hit a wall after 3 invoices or discover that actually sending invoices by email is a paid feature. I wanted to build something where the free tier is genuinely useful — not a demo. The tech stack is intentionally simple: Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, vanilla JavaScript frontend. No React, no microservices. It runs on a single DigitalOcean droplet.
