We built Clero because managing money with friends is currently fragmented across outdated tools:

Venmo traps your cash in a digital wallet balance or charges a 1.75% instant transfer fee just to move your own money to your bank. It's also very much based on one-off requests rather than keep track of multiple complex payments.
Zelle moves money direct-to-bank, but lacks any expense tracking, receipt scanning, or group splitting capabilities. (And it doesn't help that the UI is very bad!)
Splitwise put basic math features behind a paywall and restricted daily entries-and still can't actually settle payments, forcing you to chase people across other apps.
