This product is all you would want within a splitting app. My favorite feature is the automatic itemization of the receipt and the ability for people involved in the bill to “claim their items” . It has massively reduced the friction involved with putting up large receipts; a process that involved noting down who got what, messaging each person to check if it’s correct and managing different apps to ensure the money went into my account.
What needs improvement
With any application, the ui/ux experience can always be iterated on

ZelleWith this app, every splitting need is within the app with minimal clicks from adding the expense to having it show up in your bank account. Also helps that the money comes within the day into the account with no fee unlike venmo. Splitwise put a limit on the number of expenses you can add behind a paywall and this adds even more friction.

Splitwise doesn’t have an easy to use UI like Clero. Clero also offers in app payments so you don’t need to use a third party app for payments.
