@jinzhe_w Setting up a Telegram bot for a team, I don't want everyone running OpenClaw locally with keys on their laptops. ClawSimple doing isolated servers is the right trade. Do you show a per-skill permission preview before install? That's the trust moment.

@piroune_balachandran Great point.
Right now, skills are still installed by talking to the OpenClaw bot itself, so there isn’t a separate “app store”‑style per‑skill permission screen yet.
On each server, though, I run a separate PI agent that’s responsible for maintaining the OpenClaw instance: upgrading it, switching AI providers, and managing config. Skills are conceptually just another kind of config there.
The next natural step is to move skill installation into the PI agent as well, and add a clear per‑skill permission / capability preview before a skill is enabled. I will think it through -- thanks again for the thoughtful suggestion.

@rohit_waghire It deploys a new server and sets up OpenClaw after the user buys the service. There is a Free plan, where you can run the script on your own server.
Elon Musk Book Summary
how much data/credits does the simpla plan offers for claude?
ClawSimple
@fanis_poulinakis The current Standard Plan (USD 14.90) includes USD 5 worth of AI tokens, which is roughly equivalent to 200 messages with the Claude Sonnet 4.5 model. The Max Plan (USD 34.90) includes five times that quota, or about 1,000 messages. For Claude Opus, the price is approximately double, so the number of messages would be about half. I am working on a better pricing model and trying to incorporate the latest techniques for saving tokens, because the current pricing barely covers the costs.

@jinzhe_w thank you for sharing - maybe you could implement other models as well? i;m not an expert, but i've been reading about a few others - can we incorporate our own api - I have a Claude pro plan not sure if this help - thanks again

@fanis_poulinakis Great suggestion! And yes, we do have a BYOM Plan ($9.90/mo) where you can use your own API key (but Claude Pro may not provide one; I would suggest using Poe / Openrouter). Just enter the base URL, API key, as well as your chosen model after clicking the "Custom" button of the form.
OpenClaw is powerful, but setup friction kills it for most people. 1-click isolated servers is the right move.
The real differentiator will be trust permissions, visibility, and cost control. If you nail that, this becomes infrastructure, not just hosting.

@krystian_n_l_ Thanks a lot for the feedback — you just described my roadmap. I’ve been working on making usage and cost much more transparent, and today I also shipped a maintenance robot: a separate Pi agent that lets you manage your OpenClaw bots directly from Telegram — things like switching providers (for BYOM users), tweaking configs, and doing safe restarts without leaving telegram.
The goal is what you said: make it feel like solid, thoughtful infra, not just 'a VPS with OpenClaw on it'. I care about this because I'm an active OpenClaw user myself.
I recently found out about OpenClaw and I wanted to use it but didn't want to put my computer at risk. I think that is the solution I was looking for!

@marti_serra_molina Thanks! That's the goal:)
