I built CineSocial after noticing how many people love the Letterboxd experience but wish it had better support for TV shows and more features without needing a subscription. I wanted to build a proper alternative rather than just another basic movie-tracking app, so I added things like movie & TV logging, reviews, activity feeds, custom posters, favorite movies/shows, and filmography tracking. Some features inspired by Letterboxd Pro are available for free on CineSocial, and there are no ads. It’s still a work in progress, and I’m building this based on what actual users want. So if you try it, I’d genuinely love any feedback, criticism, feature requests, or bugs you find. This started as a personal project, but I’d love to see where it can go.
