ChickyTutor
Launching today
Hi Product Hunt! I’m Phanos, founder of ChickyTutor.
We’re returning with an interactive whiteboard that brings visual teaching into spoken language practice. Ask about a language pattern, see examples, work through an exercise and discuss it with your tutor all during the conversation.
We’ve also partnered with L’école de français to combine teacher-led French classes with daily AI practice between lessons at chickytutor.com/hybrid/french, and released ChickyTutor on Android.

Congrats, Phanos! Getting an explanation onto a whiteboard without breaking the speaking practice feels like a useful addition. I like that students can ask for one when they're stuck.
@oleksii_sekundant Exactly! The students can ask for an explanation and the tutor can also proactively decide an explanation is best shown on a whiteboard :)
Would love to know your thoughts on the new features!

the whiteboard addition is a smart move, my problem with most voice tutors has been that corrections fly by in audio and I forget them 10 seconds later. seeing the grammar pattern while also hearing it gives you two shots at retaining it instead of one. question on the French hybrid partnership: does the AI practice between lessons actually sync with what the human teacher covered that week, or is it running on its own curriculum in parallel
@galdayan Both are possible. Schools can either use the Chickytutor curriculum or bring their own lesson material. The tutor tracks the student's progress and flags strengths/weaknesses and next steps. Human teachers can use these to tailor their teaching on the students' progress.
this way students can get unlimited speaking practice with personalised feedback and the class can focus on explaining new concepts. The idea is to keep human teaching and daily AI practice connected, so you get more chances to use what you’ve learnt.
Of course it's also possible to treat the AI tutor as general speaking practice with feedback :)
@phanos_anastasiou that tracks, so the sync happens on the student side rather than the content side, the teacher sees where the gaps are instead of the AI mirroring the week's lesson plan directly. makes sense for keeping it flexible across schools with different curricula. good luck with the whiteboard rollout
congrats on the android launch! since the whiteboard is the new hook, i'd make it the first screenshot with a short caption like 'see the grammar, then say it' so people get the idea before they read anything.
