I’m José, the creator of CheckOK. The idea started from a very personal daily routine: staying in touch with my family across borders. We realized that neither long, intrusive phone calls nor texting back and forth all day fit our busy schedules. Often, all you want to say is: "I'm okay, arrived safe, thinking of you." I also saw how frustrating tiny mobile keyboards can be for many people—especially older adults or anyone in a rush. That’s why I built CheckOK: a one-button chat designed for your closest circle.
