The smart, simple way to create and share lists — in seconds. Use your voice or a photo to instantly build actionable checklists powered by AI. Track daily, weekly, and monthly routines with ease.
Great question! The biggest shift was removing notes and the built-in calendar to focus on aligning habits and routines with regular checklist items. It took some experimentation, but I eventually landed on the current UX. I didn’t want to reinvent the calendar, so I integrated with Apple Calendar and added a link option for Google Calendar. Hope you like the approach!

Wow
Stumbled on Checklist Genie and I’m honestly excited—it nails exactly what trips me up: building checklists quickly. Voice or snap a photo, and boom—it turns into a clean, editable list I can share. No extra fluff, no weird tech jargon—just fast, human‑friendly UX that slots right into how I actually live. This hits a real pain point. Love it!
Absolutely — if you share a list in Checklist Genie, the person you share it with can edit it too. It’s fully collaborative, so you’ll both see changes in real time.
Thanks! That’s the goal — make it feel like magic, but keep it dead simple. Just talk, snap, and go. Appreciate you giving it a try!

Tried creating a few checklists and while the speed is great, I wonder if there's a way to re-order items manually. Sometimes I like to group things by priority and couldn’t figure that part out yet.
Thanks for trying it out! You can actually reorder items manually (select "custom" sort) — just tap and hold, then drag them into the order you want.
There’s also a sort option if that’s easier: you can sort by date, A–Z, or Z–A depending on how you like to organize things.
Thank you for checking out the app!

Love the voice feature! How does the AI handle complex, multi-step instructions? For example, if I say *'Weekly deep clean: vacuum under furniture, wipe baseboards, then organize pantry by category'*—will it automatically break this into sub-tasks?
Think: checklists that create themselves!
Just tell the genie what you're trying to get done and it'll grant you the list of steps or items required to achieve it! ✔️✔️✔️
Just checked this out love how you turned earlier ideas into something so clean and focused 🔥
The Yosemite example made it click instantly this feels super practical and lightweight.
I’m currently building an AI agent myself, so seeing how you layered in intelligence without overcomplicating things is inspiring!
What was the hardest part when simplifying from Dope Notes + Aloha Planner to this? Would love to hear more about that process. 🙌 @tim_holmgren

Ngl, being able to just talk and have a checklist pop up is genius—no more typing out my endless to-dos! This is realy next-level, team.
