I heard about the ChatPDF tool a long time ago. Since I left school many years ago and no longer need to read a lot of papers, I only visited the ChatPDF website without using it in depth. Currently, I am a corporate manager and need to read and handle many PDF documents, including project introductions, work reports, and industry research reports. Working on the go, it’s inconvenient to view PDFs and copy text on my phone, and I don't always have a computer handy. So, I decided to create an AI tool on the iPhone. After searching, I found that similar products on the Apple Store were either unusable or had poor multilingual support (especially for Chinese). ChatFiles was born in this context. Compared to similar products, it has a simple interface, easily imports documents from the phone, and quickly generates summaries. For the imported documents, user can usually get a general understanding of the content after asking a few key questions which is generated by AI. The AI-generated content is also easy to copy. Overall, it's a great experience, and I recommend it to friends who need this functionality on their iPhones.
