@julia_strothmann, thanks for your comment. It's actually a bit of both. Let me explain. Upon sign-up, users are asked to choose the gender they'd like to be shown to. This is where they can select whether they're romantically interested in a specific gender or not. Our goal is to help users connect with others who share common interests, which, at this development stage, includes radio stations, music artists, podcasts, or popular playlists.
While you will be able to read comments from other users in the public rooms, users' pictures, age, location, and a key feature like DMs are only available to those who actually match their gender preferences. Additionally, there's a section where you can find users who match your gender preference, sorted by location. Private conversations in this section are exclusive to paid subscribers, but you can receive and respond to messages without a subscription. If you decide to block a user, their messages won't be visible across our platform, including both private and public rooms.
