Hi Product Hunt! Daryl and I are the founders of Certainly Health, a marketplace to book doctors and avoid surprise bills (currently only launched in NYC with 5k+ doctors available to book). Enter your visit reason and insurance, and we use machine learning to predict and guarantee your out-of-pocket costs for every health provider. This marketplace wasn't possible to create until the July 2022 Transparency in Coverage Rule that required insurance companies to publish prices. We're the first company to use this data to show prices for consumers to book doctors. We’ve both had first-hand experiences receiving surprise bills for thousands of dollars even with good insurance while working at tech companies, so solving this problem is personal to us.
