CC Theme is an open-source Mac app for ready-made, reproducible themes in supported AI desktop apps. Unlike image-and-prompt workflows, it applies validatedcctheme packages—no repeated generation, prompt tuning, or extra AI tokens.
Would love a built-in preview that shows how a theme will look across multiple supported apps before applying it. Saving me from switching between apps to compare really would make picking the right theme so much easier.
@yaren157570 Thanks, Yaren — this makes a lot of sense. A built-in cross-app preview could make it much easier to compare a theme across your setup without applying it and switching between apps repeatedly.
We’re looking into how we can make theme selection more visual and reduce that trial-and-error. Would you prefer seeing several apps side by side, or switching between larger previews for each app?
honestly this looks super handy for keeping things consistent across runs. one thing that would make it even better is letting us schedule theme switches based on time of day or active app, kind of like how some terminal users swap between light and dark automatically. would save a lot of manual toggling

We’re exploring what theme automation could look like. Which would be more useful to you: scheduled switching, following the system light/dark mode, or switching based on the active app?
