First off, thank you! @nickabouzeid We are very grateful for your advice and support on our journey to democratize influencer marketing for startups :) Building CashU has been fueled by personal frustration, experiencing the time-intensive, slow, manual process working with influencers as a part of growth at consumer social startups. Simply put, influencer marketing is not currently built for startups. As a startup, your options to use influencers at scale are the following: - Hiring an in-house influencer marketing team, an expensive and manual process, having extremely long timelines (1mo+), an option not suitable for many fast moving startups. - Working with influencer agencies with 20-40% cuts and high minimums (often exceeding $15k) - Using an influencer marketplace, which provides no guarantees, low response rates, and long timelines. These options are feasible for large, slower moving companies but not for fast moving startups. The mission behind CashU is to build the scalable influencer marketing process for consumer startups. Through our text messaging fulfillment software and community of creators, we are able to fulfill influencer campaigns of up to 50 creators/mo in a matter of days. By prioritizing rapid feedback loops, CashU allows a startup to test multiple content strategies and audiences, analyze the results through an analytics dashboard, and use this data to optimize the followup campaign, all on a weekly basis. This channel of growth has the potential of becoming the most powerful way to scale a consumer startup, and we built CashU to provide the infrastructure needed to make it so.
