I started importing from China myself a few years ago. First container, first customs fine from Polish authorities and nobody told me HS code misclassification could cost that much. I went looking for a tool that would just tell me upfront: is this legal to bring in, and what will it actually cost landed in Poland. Didn't exist. Spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads with freight forwarders, and a customs agent who'd email me back in three days. That's the gap Cargomate.pl fills. It's not trying to replace your freight forwarder or customs agent, it coordinates them. You put in a product link, we check VAT/EORI, calculate landed cost (duty, VAT, freight, fees), flag compliance issues before you commit money, and generate the customs declaration data. The approach changed a lot building this. Started thinking we'd build a tool for logistics people. Realized our actual user is a 5-person import business owner who's also doing sales, sourcing, and accounting. They don't want another dashboard, they want one screen that says "yes, safe to import, here's your real cost per unit." Built by a small team in Warsaw who's lived this problem. I am not from this background and dont understand the shipping business much but this sounds like you are passionate about this solution. I would suggest you to launch again with better preparation.
