Logistics Software is Broken for the "Little Guys" If you are a giant logistics corporation, you can afford expensive, enterprise-grade B2B software that costs thousands of dollars a year. But if you are a small freight forwarder, an e-commerce startup, or an individual shipper? You are left behind. CargoLab is a free, browser-based 3D Load Planner designed for the rest of us. It brings enterprise-level optimization to everyone, instantly.

I’ve been working in the aviation cargo industry for over a decade. Throughout my career, I’ve always found that 3D cargo planning software is incredibly useful, but the current market options are almost exclusively B2B, enterprise-focused, and incredibly expensive. I wanted to change that. I believe small companies, individuals, and startups deserve access to these optimization tools, too. So, I decided to build CargoLab (https://cargolab.app). The Backstory (and a favor): I am brand new to coding. To be honest, this is a total "vibe coding" result—I’m learning as I go and using AI to help me build my vision. Because of this, I really need your input. I know the logistics side inside out, but the coding side is where I need you guys to break things and tell me what’s wrong. What the tool does: 3D Visualization: Visualizes how cargo fits in containers/pallets. Auto-Optimization: AI strategies to calculate the best packing layout. Equipment: Standard containers, ULDs, and trucks. No Install: Web-based and lightweight. ⚠️ Important Disclaimer (Please Read): I have set up a subscription page, but please be very careful before subscribing. Beta Status: Since I'm new to coding, functions are not fully polished. There will be bugs. Weekend Project: This is currently a leisure-time project for me. I have a day job, so I can mainly only review code, fix bugs, and reply to support emails during the weekends. I strongly recommend you stick to the free testing for now. If you do subscribe, please understand it’s effectively a donation to support development, not a purchase of a perfect enterprise product yet. My Ask: I want to make this useful for the people who actually move freight. Does the interface make sense to you? What bugs did you find? As a logistics user, what is the one feature you wish existed in other tools? Check it out here: https://cargolab.app Thanks for helping a fellow logistics person out!
