Hey Product Hunt! I’m Jag, co-founder of CareRoute.

I built CareRoute, together with my co-founder Prathima, after a surgery that turned out to be far more expensive than expected, between the hospital setting and additional bills from providers I didn’t even know were involved. That experience stuck with me: why is it so hard to know where to go for the right level of care and what it may cost?

It helps you figure out the right care setting for your health needs, estimate total out-of-pocket costs, and find lower-cost options based on your insurance.

This actually feels super practical. Most people( including myself) don’t think about care options until they’re already stressed, and this helps right at that decision point.

I also like that it doesn’t separate “where should I go” from “what will it cost.” In real life those two questions are always happening together anyway.
