But she's too old now, and she can't make that walk anymore. That small ritual, the one thing that kept her close to him, was gone. When I got home, I searched for an app that could help her light a candle from home. I couldn't find anything that felt right. Everything was either a social feed, a memorial website, or cluttered with ads. So I decided to build it myself. Candle Memorial is simple on purpose: no login, no registration, no internet needed. You open the app select the background add the photo of the loved one and light a candle. That's it. It's for people who can't make it to church anymore, or who live in a different city or country from the loved one they lost. It's free to use right now you and by default you have 5 free candle and you can buy candles in pack for as low as 0.99 USD or buy lifetime premium for 5 USD, no ads, works on both iOS and Android.
