I hate the calls like this. It's just disturbing when some garbage service knows your personal number. But it's good that later android versions automatically block such calls. If some numbers aren't in the databases you can always check where did the call come from? https://shoustar.com/phones/

Since spending my entire professional career up to this point in a sales related position, I've had plenty of experience dishing out cold calls, and taking my fair share of rejection as well as being the recipient of these calls and rejecting the person on the other line. Initially, I did my best to empathize with sellers who reached out to me because I understood how difficult their job as I was one of them. However, that empathy only lasted for so long and my patience grew very thin because the calls never stopped and they occurred at what seemed to be the most inopportune times. I saw this as a problem that both sides experienced for different reasons and if both sides hated dealing with it so much, it was evident to me that there was a certainly better and more efficient way of generating leads to make it less exhausting for sellers, and more incentivizing for prospects to take sales pitches. So, because I truly believed in the product I was selling, and did enough research on a prospect to indicate there was a need for what I was offering. I started providing value up front and resorted to paying people for their time which resulted in: - More appointments set in significantly less time - Less effort exerted in setting appointments - Less prospects flaking - Less frustration from constant rejection due to previously cold calling - More closed deals - Referrals that I was not required to post collateral as I already earned that person's trust from being referred to them by someone they've already trusted. In the end, Callateral's platform inherently forces sellers to be more targeted in their approach, resulting in more valuable meetings and significantly less time being wasted for both sellers and their prospects. Another feature I plan on implementing is a way to have the money go directly to charities if the prospect chooses so. How to register correctly and make the most of the platform; Businesses can create a company profile under the "business" section then select "New Company". Once your company profile is set up, direct employees to register under the company account. They will do this by also clicking on the "Business" section and selecting the now created profile for the company they work for. Whenever an employee takes a meeting on company time, the company will be compensated for any collateral received, acting as a supplemental revenue stream. Individual consumers can sign up under the "individual" section. Once a business or individual profile is set up you can copy and paste the profile link (shown in image 2/4) by clicking on the light blue person icon in the top right corner and selecting "profile link". This link will take you to a separate page detailing your minimum required collateral amount and preferred times for sellers. The purpose of this link is to paste it anywhere you are likely to be solicited, letting sellers know that the only way to get you in a meeting is if they put their money where there mouth is and pre-pay for any potentially wasted time (see image 1/4 for LinkedIn example). And of course, the larger the user the base, the more effective this platform will be for everyone in order to help put an end to unwanted and un-targeted solicitations while also being compensated for wasted time.
