I’ve always loved journaling, it helped me a lot in my own struggles. However it was always an outlet out rarely would I read them back. I wanted to create a way to see my patterns and learn about myself. I knew llms could help but I didn’t want to give this deeply personal information to big AI , so I leveraged Apples on device local llms. This ensure privacy, while getting deeper insights about me.

Love the on-device approach and the reflective writing angle. One thing I'd find really useful is an optional export to plain text or PDF, so I can back up years of entries without losing the formatting. Maybe a monthly reminder too.

love that it stays on-device and the reflections actually match how i’m feeling, not generic advice. felt surprisingly personal after just a couple entries.

Love the on-device approach and the reflective tone feels really thoughtful. One thing that would help me stick with it long term is a tiny "memory nudge" that surfaces a past entry from the same week or season, so I can actually see how my patterns shift over time rather than just getting a fresh reflection each day.

One thing I'd love is the ability to revisit past entries and see little mood or theme highlights from weeks or months ago, like a gentle summary at the top of older entries. It would make reflecting on growth feel even more meaningful without needing to re-read everything.

the on-device learning is a nice touch, makes it feel like a personal journal rather than a data harvester. surprisingly thoughtful reflections after just a few entries.

the on-device part is what sold me, feels good knowing my thoughts stay local. the reflections are surprisingly accurate without being creepy.
