Built&Written is an AI book editor for entrepreneurs, coaches, and consultants. Paste your notes or ideas — the AI structures and co-writes in your voice using Voice DNA. Format with proper front/back matter, generate a KDP-compliant cover, and export print-ready PDF + EPUB. One workflow. No tool-switching. Ships your book, not your patience.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Mykhail — CTO and full-stack developer at Built&Written.
I've been shipping production apps with Next.js and Supabase
for 3+ years — ERP systems, e-commerce platforms, and hiring
tools for clients across the US, EU, and Israel.
The problem we kept seeing:
Entrepreneurs and coaches want to write a book to build
authority. But the actual process looks like this: draft in
ChatGPT, paste into Google Docs, format in Atticus or Word,
design a cover in Canva, fight with Kindle Create, upload to
KDP, get rejected for wrong cover dimensions, repeat.
5 tools. Weeks of context-switching. Most people quit before
they publish.
Why existing tools don't solve it:
Sudowrite and Squibler generate text — but don't format for
KDP or design covers. Atticus and Vellum handle formatting —
but have zero AI writing. You still end up stitching
everything together yourself.
So we built Built&Written.
One editor that covers the full pipeline: outline, AI
co-writing (with Voice DNA that learns YOUR tone),
professional formatting, cover design to KDP specs, and
export to print-ready PDF + EPUB.
Most users go from raw notes to a KDP-ready book in under
an hour.
Early traction (1 month in):

Would love your honest feedback. Especially if you've ever
thought about writing a book but got stuck somewhere in the
process. What stopped you?
