Brief is the Executive Intelligence platform. It tracks every decision you make and every commitment your team makes back, and catches what's slipping before the deadline does, so you walk into every conversation prepared.

Hi Product Hunt. I'm Clint, one of Brief's co-founders.
Every Friday afternoon I run the same routine. I go back through the week and ask two questions: what did I say I'd do that went nowhere, and what did someone say they'd do for me? It takes about forty minutes, and it's the only reason a lot of my commitments ever get kept.
Brief does that work every day, without the forty minutes.
It reads your email and chat and finds the commitments in them: who owes what, to whom, and by when. It keeps that record current, and it closes a commitment on its own when the evidence shows it's done. It tells you who owes you a follow-up and which customer went quiet. It keeps your decisions too, with what was decided and why. Each morning you get a briefing, and before a meeting you get what you need to walk in prepared. When something needs following up, Brief drafts it, and by default nothing goes out until you approve it. Brief is private by architecture.
What you decided, and who owes you what, without the Friday afternoon.
Starting today, Brief's Individual Edition is in Open Beta, free while in beta. If you're in North America with a Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 work account, you get straight in. Everyone else joins the list and hears first when Brief opens where you are. Team Edition is coming next.

I'll be here all day. Tell me what you'd want Brief to catch first.
I was drawn to Brief as part of the solution for day-today work-flow issues that come with having globally distributed workforce and significant timezone differences. Actually, I was more concerned about having globally distributed leadership and decision makers and significant timezone differences. As decisions are being made in one timezone and work evolves, shifts, or is tabled how is the new direction relayed accurately and in a timely way to the people doing the work, who made the decision, and who is responsible for that work. In my short time working with the system I can already see that Brief can be that solution.
My time right now I am considering data integration to ensure the correct systems are connected and working through the processes to connect them. I am also continuing to rely more on the chat feature to simplify my interactions with Brief and learning how to best utilize agents. I appreciate that the team from Brief is so engaged and is working to understand both common and unique use cases.
@patrick_crothers Thanks Patrick! You're feedback is a gift and you're helping to shape the product direction going forward.
Brief really helps me make sure things don't slip through the cracks, I am prepared for upcoming meetings, and I respond on time. Like everyone else, I context switch frequently - across projects, people, and activities. And the personal to do list piles up just like the changes in technology markets I try to keep on top of. Brief offers me a new way to organize it and keep moving forward. I look forward to being able to use it along with my team members.
@jonathan_perl thanks for your support!
Exciting to see Brief on PH today! My problem is that I have a few emails that need action or contain discussions, which are not that hard to track for me. However, they are sprinkled in with all the daily newsletters, weekly digests, notifications, and so on. I’ll try out Brief.
Congrats on the launch, team! Miss the old days at SugarCRM.
@sandhya_jaideep thanks for checking us out Sandhya! I think Brief can help and I'd love to hear your feedback.
Leading a GTM org with dozens of meetings daily, I know how much time goes into keeping track of commitments and following up across conversations, so Brief’s focus on who owes what and what needs attention really resonates with me. Honored that I got early access. Congrats on the launch, Clint, Larry and Zac and much success!
@guido_de_vries thanks for the support Guido! Looking forward to your feedback.
I'm involved in several companies and projects, and one of my biggest challenges is keeping track of commitments, follow-ups, and decisions across everything I'm working on. Brief has been a valuable tool in helping me stay on top of those moving pieces, and I'm excited to see how it continues to evolve.
@jerry_straw thanks Jerry! We definitely appreciate your feedback and it's helped us improve. We look forward to scaling and getting even more feedback.
Excited to be using Brief. Identifying a list of core decisions I have to make is extremely helpful. Appreciate how responsive the team is on helping me improve that funnel!
@sam_bogrov thanks for your support and your feedback Sam! we really appreciate it!
