Brainstorm with a virtual coach anything from blog posts, to project ideas, to D&D campaigns, to personal bios, to dinner plans, and more! It's like "rubber duck debugging" as a service. Plus, you can get feedback from others without an account!
I like it a lot!
Been playing with it and one MAJOR issue is the lack of autosave for each brainstorm.
I started playing with it and each time, something happened (internet disconnect or headphones disconnect) and I had to start the whole thing, all over again... three times.
If you can add autosave function, and continue from where you left off, that would make it even more amazing!
Impressed to see the quality of questions that BrainStory is able to ask in order to facilitate a brainstorm. Feels spot on with something a person would ask me and it's helpful for getting unstuck.
The one thing I'd love to see in future versions is even faster load times of the questions so that the "conversation" flows more quickly.
I gave the app a try. I was very excited about it. I started digging into brainstorming for a blog post. It was exciting to feel like I was headed towards something new and exciting, especially considering that my ADHD brain could REALLY use a tool to refine the voices.
And then I hit submit and got a spinning death wheel and an error message saying please try again after going on a psychological deep dive for 3 minutes trying to answer the question I was asked.
It was like going to a new restaurant and having huge expectations and it being a train wreck of an experience. I probably won't be back.
Super sorry about this rough experience, Jacob! We just put in a fix for this (it was the result of our transcription timing out) and we're on it to rewrite more of that part so you never have to deal with this issue again. Apologies again, and thank you for your patience!!
