Upload any video, image, or audio. BrainLens predicts activation across 39 brain regions — visual processing, emotion, attention, memory, and more. Compare two assets side-by-side to see which wins and why. Trained on fMRI data from 100+ subjects, 57,000+ images, and 1,000+ videos. Picks the real-world winner 82% of the time. Companies pay $200K+ per neuromarketing study. We charge $0.99.
Hey Product Hunt! I'm Krishnam, I'm 18, and I built BrainLens because I was frustrated that neuromarketing insights were locked behind $200K enterprise studies.
What it does: Upload any marketing asset — a thumbnail, logo, ad, landing page — and see a 3D brain model showing exactly which of 39 regions activate, how intensely, and why. Run side-by-side A/B comparisons and get a clear winner with region-by-region breakdowns.
How I built it: I trained my own brain encoding model from scratch on real fMRI data (brain scans) from 100+ subjects across CC0 open-source neuroscience datasets. The model takes content annotations, encodes them through a language model, and predicts neural activation across 39 validated brain regions. Then Claude generates a strategic creative brief explaining what the brain data means for your marketing.
Peak accuracy: r=0.56 (explains ~31% of variance in actual brain activity). In real-world testing against dozens of YouTube thumbnails and brand assets with known performance data, BrainLens correctly predicted which asset performed better 82% of the time.
Why it matters: Meta released TRIBE v2 (a brain encoding model) just weeks ago, but it's CC BY-NC — you can't use it commercially. I studied their architecture, trained my own weights on CC0 data, and built a full product around it. BrainLens is the first commercially licensed brain prediction tool for marketers.
Try it: Every account gets one free scan. Would love your feedback — especially if you test it on your own thumbnails or ads and tell me if the predictions match your intuition.
