Boxagon

Boxagon is a social commerce platform where you can create and discover collections or “boxes” of items that go well together for all types of situations. So if you’re traveling to the rainforest or running your first marathon, you can search through the site and see boxes with items that other users recommend for these events. The concept is similar to how people on fashion sites often match pieces of clothing to create amazing outfits, but we’re applying it to a much wider audience of sports enthusiasts, DIY hobbyist, and various others potential users.

It is genius.

@JuanDiego_Farah - what are the most unique (or just plain weird) boxes you've seen on the site so far?

@rrhoover - we got some crazy ones like Cave Diving essentials (http://boxagon.com/Box/GUsBCZ), or music ones like for example this band uploaded their guitar gear (http://boxagon.com/Box/tGk9Js). The other cool thing is that we are also connected to Shopify, so if you have a Shopify store you can install our app and create boxes with the stuff you sell on your store (https://apps.shopify.com/boxagon)

Love this—but I have a few web nitpicks: I don't like that the hover state for each box covers the content. Also, this is exactly the sort of thing I want to use new tabs for with each link.
