What's great

Boundeal VDR is fantastic because it brings security, document structure and team access control into one clear workspace. For confidential projects, it is important not only to store files safely, but also to make sure every participant sees only what they are supposed to see.

I especially like the way Boundeal handles Permission Groups, Roles & Permissions, project isolation, Confidentiality Agreement and Dynamic Watermarking. These features make the review process more controlled and reduce the risk of unnecessary information exposure.

The AI assistant is also a strong feature. When a data room contains many folders and documents, it helps find relevant information faster and makes the review process more efficient.

What needs improvement

Boundeal VDR already covers the core needs well, especially security, project isolation, permissions, and document protection. One thing that could make the product even better is adding more ready-made templates for different workflows.

vs Alternatives

I did not make a long formal comparison with many alternatives. The main reason I chose Boundeal VDR was that it matched the key requirements I had for confidential project work: secure document sharing, separated access for different teams, clear permissions and better control over sensitive files.

For our use case, simple cloud storage or regular document sharing tools were not enough, because they do not provide the same level of structured access control, confidentiality workflow and project isolation. Boundeal felt more suitable for due diligence, fundraising, M&A-related work and other confidential business processes.

What's great

Boundeal VDR is useful for teams that need more than simple document storage. The main value is granular access control. It is easy to create different Permission Groups and give each company, advisor, investor, or internal team only the access they need.

This is very important when several external companies work in the same project environment but should not see the same documents. Boundeal helps keep the process structured and reduces the risk of unnecessary data exposure.

I also find Reports & Insights valuable. As a project admin, you can see activity across different companies and understand which participants are reviewing documents. This gives better visibility during due diligence, fundraising, or other confidential business processes.

What needs improvement

The platform is clear and practical.

It would also be helpful to have short best-practice tips.
