As a DIYer, I've always found myself needing tools I don't have or can't store away. If your neighbor had what you're looking for, why not borrow it for a day? You won't need it for the rest of the year anyway, right? Borrow a pasta-maker from your neighbors two floors up and have a pasta dinner party with friends. Lend your ski gear to the friends next door for their weekend trip to Tahoe. Borrow helps to bring together a community of folks helping each other out while contributing to better sustainability and resourcefulness.
