Bonsai is a platform that helps students through their learning journey using artificial intelligence. Our different modalities; learn, notebook, and review; are designed to target different stages of learning, and cement concepts in students' minds. During this process, we also give back to the planet. Bonsai runs on datacenter using 100% renewable energy, and we take 16g of CO2 out of the atmosphere for every prompt by a user.
Congratulations on the launch! What I find useful is that each interaction is tied to a concrete amount of carbon removal, rather than a vague offset claim on the billing page. How is the removal sourced and verified, so a user can trust the number behind each prompt?
@alieksia Thank you! We remove carbon with Climeworks using the Nature and Technology plan. We find Climeworks to be a reputable carbon removal service, and we believe the Nature and Technology plan aligns best with our mission as a brand. As we are just getting started, we will release the carbon removal receipt through email to our subscribers at the end of the soonest month that we have accumulated enough prompts to be eligible to donate to Climeworks.
