BonoVía is a free trip planner for Spain's public transport passes. Enter your city and instantly see every destination you can reach by train and bus on an interactive map — color-coded by which passes cover each route. Spain has dozens of transport passes (Abono Único, Verano Joven, Pase Vía, Interrail) but no single tool tells you where they actually take you. BonoVía solves that. One search, all operators, all passes.
Hey everyone! I'm Diego, a 20-year-old software engineer from southern Spain, and I built BonoVía because I was tired of not knowing where my train pass could actually take me.
Spain has amazing rail infrastructure — you can get from Madrid to Toledo in 33 minutes, to Sevilla in 2h20, to Barcelona in 2h30 — and many of these trips are free or heavily discounted with passes like the Abono Único. But no tool existed that showed you all your options on a map.
So I built one. BonoVía pulls real schedule data from Renfe and ALSA every week, processes 550,000+ timetable entries, and shows you every reachable destination color-coded by which pass covers it.
Designed to be a privacy-first application. No accounts, no tracking, no ads.
I'd love your feedback — especially on what feels confusing or broken. This is a solo beta and there's a lot to improve. What other countries would benefit from something like this?
