Do a brief discription of why i built this build and the solution it can provide
Here’s a concise “why I built it” description you can use on Product Hunt, the landing page, or pitch decks:
Why I built BoardSimple
Most feedback tools are priced for Fortune 500s — Canny starts at £79/mo and climbs past £350 once you add seats and tracked users. Productboard won’t even show you a price without a sales call. Founders don’t need a “feedback suite”; they need a clean, public board that closes the loop with users.
What it solves
BoardSimple is a public roadmap + changelog tool for startups. It lets you collect feature requests, let users upvote what matters, publish product updates, and embed everything into your site — all for £25/mo flat. Unlimited admin seats, unlimited tracked users, 14-day free trial, no sales calls.
Really like the unlimited seats angle, that alone makes it stand out from the usual suspects. One thing I'd want to see is inline customer comments or reactions tied to each card, so visitors can upvote what they care about and you can prioritize based on actual demand instead of guessing.
@melahatakcakaya the points you raised are now in the build
@melahatakcakaya these changes have been added
The custom domain and white-labeling look great :) Few questions:
1) Is there an export or API, so the request and vote data isn't locked in if someone later moves to another tool?
2) Are privacy and terms pages planned? I'm asking because the board would hold user-submitted data, so I'd like to know how that's handled, especially for EU users.
@alieksia The points you have raised are in the build have another look manybthanks Richard
The way the roadmap cards stack with that subtle shadow and clean typography makes scanning priorities feel really satisfying. Great execution on something so many tools overcomplicate.
@anlpiyr Many thanks for the comment are youbworking on anthing?
