I always found myself wanting more from Apple's Health app. It did an ok job of visualizing health data, but I was always confused about whether the values were healthy or not. The goal with Bloom was to help contextualize the data with science-backed, study driven guidelines. Bloom coalesces all of your data into a single number: your biological age. We compare your health data to average values based on age and sex to determine whether you're actually younger or older than your chronological age. This makes it crystal clear what parts of your health are actually weighing you down. On top of that foundation, we've built AI powered features as part of Bloom Plus, our subscription. With Bloom Plus, you can get daily insights on what you should focus on today (as well as commentary on trends in your data). We'll also give you insights into your sleep, and recommend what you should do tonight to improve it. If you have any health related questions, you can chat with Bud, your in-app health assistant. Bud is able to read health data related to your question to help provide a personalized answer. If you've ever pasted health data into ChatGPT to ask a question, this feature is for you. No personally identifiable information is included in the chat history, no data is stored on our backends longer than needed to deliver the response, and the data is not used for training AI. You also have full control over what health data can leave your device.
