After over a decade building and scaling fintech products, we found ourselves constantly wrestling with the same pain: building core financial systems that are both accurate and compliant is painfully slow and complex.
The tools out there? Either clunky, too expensive, or just not made for developers.
So we decided to change that and build what we wished we had.
We built Blnk Finance, an open-source financial core for developers who want to ship fast without compromising compliance and correctness.
Here’s what you get:
📔 Ledger – An out-of-the-box double-entry ledger for managing balances and recording transactions including balance monitoring, balance snapshots, inflight transactions, scheduling and overdrafts, bulk transactions, and so much more.
⚙ Reconciliation – Automatically match external records like bank statements to your internal ledger.
🪪 Identity Management – Easily create & manage identities with PII tokenization and the ability to link to balances and transactions.
Blnk is flexible and can be connected to any adjacent tools you like: payment processors, CRM, internal tools, accounting apps, etc. You can also self-host and use it within your own infrastructure.
Whether you're building wallets, FX systems, or credit products — Blnk gets you there in half the time.

We started Blnk Finance to help teams understand how to build and ship fintechs correctly. Almost a year later, we’ve seen developers and teams leverage Blnk to improve and build their products. We are excited to bring fintech infrastructure to the open-source ecosystem!
