Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Ricardo, the developer behind One Geek Army and BitCache. The idea for BitCache came from a problem I kept running into: I wanted one place where I could save things from anywhere, regardless of which app or Apple device I was using. Most of the solutions I tried felt tied to a particular browser, app or type of content. I wanted to be able to find something in Safari on my iPhone, a browser on my Mac, or another app entirely, save it quickly to the same place, and deal with organizing it later. That became BitCache: a personal library for links, text, images and PDFs across iPhone, iPad and Mac. You can capture things through the Share Sheet, browser extensions, drag and drop, imports or directly in the app, then organize them with an Inbox, Collections and Archive and find them again with Search. Privacy was also important to me. BitCache doesn’t require a BitCache account or store your personal library on our servers. Your library stays in your own iCloud account and syncs across your Apple devices. BitCache is an independent app, and this is its first public release.
