Hey everyone! BiBimba 1.5.0 is out.
Two things I wanted to make easier: finding a link inside an old screenshot, and getting images into the format I need.
Find a QR code without remembering its link.
Type URL in BiBimba s search, and screenshots containing QR codes with web links will show up even when URL isn t written anywhere in the image. Select one, press Ctrl+U, and pick the link to copy or paste.
Convert images right from Finder.
Select an image or several in the same format and press Ctrl+Shift+F. Choose PNG, JPG, HEIC, TIFF, or WebP, then press Enter. You can also use Finder s right-click Services menu. Converted copies are saved beside the originals, which stay untouched.
@amine_charot Thank you!
making screenshots actually searchable by their text is such an obvious gap once you notice it - half my clipboard history is screenshots of receipts or error messages I can never find again. Does the OCR run fast enough to keep up if you're a heavy screenshotter, or is there a lag before a new one becomes searchable?
@galdayan The OCR has been pretty quick for me, so I don't think speed will be a problem. I just added a 7-day free trial, so give it a go with your own screenshots! https://bibimba.mamama.company/
Let me know if anything feels slow or you run into any issues!
@rihito_arai good to know, the free trial makes it an easy yes. going to actually load up a folder of receipts and see how it holds up - appreciate the quick answer
