Clipboard history and screenshots, searchable together. BiBimba reads the text inside screenshots, so you can find a receipt total or an error message later and paste just what you need. On-device AI translates, summarizes, rewrites. Stays on your Mac. $9.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Rihito, a solo developer in Japan.
BiBimba started from a small annoyance: I take a lot of screenshots (receipts, error dialogs, slides), and when I need one number from one of them a week later, I can't search for it. So BiBimba treats screenshots like clipboard entries. It runs OCR on them right away, and everything you copied or captured ends up in one search box. Type "invoice" and you get the text you copied, the screenshot with that word in it, and the snippet you saved.
A few things that matter to me:
- Everything stays on your Mac. History and screenshots are stored locally, you pick how many items to keep and for how long, and there are no analytics. - The AI features (translate, summarize, rewrite, your own saved instructions) use Apple's on-device models, so nothing is sent to a server. They need a Mac with Apple Intelligence turned on. - It's keyboard-first. ⌃⇧C opens history, Return pastes into the app you were in, ⌃K runs text actions. - $9, one time, for 3 Macs. Buy again with the same email if you need three more. No subscription.
Requirements: Apple silicon and macOS 26 or later. That's a real limitation, and it's because the OCR and the on-device models come from the current OS, not something I bundle.
The interface is in ten languages. I'd love to hear what you'd want it to do with your screenshots, and I'll be here all day answering questions.
