Hey Product Hunt — thanks for giving us a whirl. If you’re like me and my co-founders, you spend most of your work day in front of a monitor. And there’s a very good chance that, like me, your neck and back are worse off for it. Even if you’re back at the office or have a great WFH set-up, it’s so easy to slouch, relax your core, and just generally assume a less-than-ideal posture. In fact, all of us were suffering from pretty bad tech-neck. We tried some of the hardware solutions, which are cool, but A) are tough to commit to, and B) we weren’t crazy about dealing with yet another device every day. So we built Better Posture — it’s a web app that uses your webcam and guided sessions to create short burst sessions designed to correct your posture. This has been a passion project, and at least for us, it’s paid dividends in our WFH levels of comfort. You can get into your first session in less than a minute. And once you’re in there, you should feel the difference very quickly — it’s amazing what a little bit of engagement and concentration will do to build core strength.
