bestapp.lol: Rank is whatever you paid. Nothing else counts.

Every "best apps" list is paid for somehow. Affiliate links, sponsor slots, or one person's opinion dressed up as a ranking. I wanted to see what it looks like with the pretence removed. bestapp.lol is a list with one rule: your position is whatever you paid. Pay more than the listing above you and you move above it. No algorithm, no votes, no editors. Upfront: the format was inspired by outbid.lol, which launched a few days ago. I liked the idea enough to build my own take, and added the parts I thought were missing, a clock showing how long the current #1 has held it and the record to beat, arrows when a listing gets pushed down, and a feed showing who overtook whom rather than just a list of bids. The traffic numbers are public at /stats. No cookies, no third-party tracker, measured on the site itself, so you can check what a spot is actually worth before buying one. Right now #1 costs a few dollars. It only goes up. Happy to answer anything!
