One thing I'd love to see is salary transparency baked into the map view, like showing estimated pay ranges right on the pins so I can weigh commute time against compensation before clicking into a listing.
@erdogankl2571 Great idea, Erdoğan! 🙌 We already show estimated salary on the job card when it's available, but surfacing it directly on the map pins would make comparing opportunities much faster before clicking in. Not every listing includes salary data, so we'd need a clear way to handle missing info, but I really like this direction. Thanks for the suggestion! 🚀
How does the AI actually figure out the match percentage between my CV and a job posting? Is it just keyword overlap or something more nuanced?
@senargf3 Great question, Sena! It's not keyword matching, it's semantic. Every job gets converted into a vector embedding that captures its actual meaning (role, skills, seniority, domain) rather than just literal words.
We convert both your profile and each job posting into AI-generated semantic representations, allowing us to compare the meaning behind your skills, experience, and career goals rather than just exact words. That's why someone with "React Developer" experience can still match well with a "Frontend Engineer" role even if the titles differ.
Your match score is based on several factors, including skills, experience, seniority, role similarity, industry, and other signals that indicate how well the position fits your profile. For some roles, we also run a deeper AI analysis to better understand the ideal candidate and improve the quality of the recommendations.
