This is a great product @iaindooley - questions: 1. are there particular requirements for the trello plan? 2. We have an alias on our gmail domain for one of our products. Can you handle alias domains for the send? 3. Also, I know its not your product - but - can we link/automate with Slack support chats? (we use Chatlio and that creates a dedicated slack channel per customer email)

@djinoz Hey! Thanks for your interest :) I'll reply to each question in-line below: > 1. are there particular requirements for the trello plan? No you can use it on the free Trello plan. It runs as a "bot" user (meaning that you have a Trello account created for your shared email). Wherever that member is added to a board, you will be able to send and receive emails. This also means that it doesn't use up your free power up per board. > 2. We have an alias on our gmail domain for one of our products. Can you handle alias domains for the send? Yep, whichever email is set as the default in your account settings will be used for new outbound emails (this can be an alias or otherwise). You can also have any number of other aliases, and whichever address a message is received on will be used for replies. This goes for signature, too -- ie. it will select the correct signature for the given address it is replying from. In the case that you have an address forwarded into the same account, but you don't configure an alias for it (for example you have some legacy email you want to phase out) it will just reply from the default. The only limitation is that you can't originate emails from anything other than the default address. > 3. Also, I know its not your product - but - can we link/automate with Slack support chats? (we use Chatlio and that creates a dedicated slack channel per customer email) That's something that would be set up on top of BenkoDesk using my Trellinator framework: http://www.trellinator.com/ It's across between Butler and Zapier -- that is, the main focus is automating Trello but it's also able to, for example, set up a URL that can receive webhook posts from Slack's Events API: https://api.slack.com/events-api As such we could do things like create a new card when a new chatlio channel is created, record the channel ID and allow you to respond to those messages from Trello rather than Slack. We can create Trellinator commands on a one-off basis and so long as you host the code in your own Google account there is currently no ongoing cost (although at some point I will be introducing something like a $10/year hosting cost for Trellinator, but it's open source so you can also self-host) Each command costs approx $50 - $200 depending on complexity: https://www.theprocedurepeople.c...

Hey! I've been working with customers using Trello for their email for the past 4 years, and BenkoDesk is the latest iteration in that journey :)
