Batteriepasswerk generates EU-compliant digital battery passports—one per battery, with a unique QR code in accordance with GS1 Digital Link. Manufacturers create their model once in accordance with DIN DKE SPEC 99100, import serial numbers via CSV or Excel, and receive thousands of passports ready for printing and engraving. Ready for the mandate effective February 18, 2027—without an IT project.
Love that the QR codes follow GS1 Digital Link from the start, such a small choice that saves manufacturers a painful migration later. The CSV import approach is exactly the kind of practical execution this regulation needs.
The CSV import actually saves a ton of tedious work, and seeing all the QR codes generate at once for engraving was pretty satisfying. Solid pre-built solution for the 2027 deadline.
