Supabase was the natural choice because BaseBuddy is built for people who already trust Supabase as their app database. We wanted to work with existing Postgres tables directly, use Supabase Auth for login, and support Supabase Storage for media and files without asking users to move their content into another CMS. The open-source stack, great developer experience, and hosted Postgres foundation made it the best fit.
