Navigating government business registries across the Baltics is frustrating. To fix this, I pulled the raw open data from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia to build a unified search engine. Baltic Firms indexes over 800k companies. You can search by name or registration code, and filter by active status, location, and industry. It also includes a completely free API for developers to use. Built with Node.js and Next.js. Also will implement AI company enrichment.

Finally a clean way to search Baltic registries without jumping between three clunky government sites. The free API is a nice touch, especially the active status filter which saved me from digging through dead companies.
@dndgynnnnx YAY! So amazing to hear someone actually used it and found it helpful. So glad! Thanks.
@dndgynnnnx Also could you leave a review please in the review section? Would help me out a ton!!
Love that the API is free, that's a huge win for developers. One thing that would make this way more useful for me: add historical data or at least basic change tracking so I can see when a company changed status, got renamed, or had its industry updated. Right now it feels like a snapshot, but real due diligence needs a timeline.
@kriyeetja Great idea, if the project gets traction and we start building up and updating the database, will definitely do that! Thanks again for checking it out!
Upcoming features: AI Company data enrichment
There will be a button where you can enrich the company data. All the information about every company, what they actually do will be accessible. Not just what they wrote in the official sources.
6 upvotes! Maybe not much, but for me it means the world! Thanks!
