Hey ProductHunt! This is my second public project here, so hello everyone! I worked on this project over this summer (2023) after previously pitching it in an entrepreneurship masterclass by one of my teachers. I'm looking to work on and expand the project, so if you're interested in learning more about that, feel free to reach out to my email: hey@7ika.dev. Backtrack solves a simple problem I faced when creating music with a producer from Ireland: email fatigue. We were sending countless emails back and fourth with new versions of the song, adding only minor or sometimes major tweaks each time. Then, when we wanted to go back we had to download TONS of files just to find it again: what a headache. And that's why Backtrack was born – the GitHub of Music. So go on, try it while it's free. It works with any DAW as it "watches" a folder for changes and then uploads that to the cloud (secure with AWS). I'm looking to implement a 'local version' of this app as well as finding ways to make it more integrated into the DAW. Feel free to leave any suggestions or feedback. That's all for now. Cheers!
