I go meeting to meeting with my laptop. Sometimes something's running that I don't want to die, but I also don't want to walk around with my lid half open like an idiot.
Lid-close sleep is good design and should stay exactly as it is. But it just breaks when you need five seconds of override.
Amphetamine is three menus deep and pmset needs a sudo password. You're not reaching for either when you're grabbing your laptop on the way out.
So I built a menubar toggle. One click on/off with a clean icon. The code is open source if you want to see what came out of it.
Someone left a comment on GitHub: "Simple, not bloated, works easily, no bugs." - and that's the whole goal.
