Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m excited to introduce Codespect.io, an AI-powered tool that streamlines code reviews by integrating directly with GitHub. As developers, we know how time-consuming code reviews can be, even with linters and CI/CD pipelines in place. With just a few clicks, Codespect.io analyzes your pull requests and provides AI-generated feedback on code quality, security, and potential improvements. I'm building Codespect.io for developers and companies where code reviews are a crucial part of the workflow (which they should be in every company!). I'd love to hear any suggestions to improve the tool and make it more valuable for your teams. Codespect is designed to be incredibly easy to use, with a low entry barrier. Our goal is to minimize the number of clicks required to get started, ensuring that developers can quickly integrate it into their workflow without any hassle. Currently, we’re leveraging ChatGPT’s technical assistant for code analysis, which allows us to offer a very friendly pricing model. As we continue developing, we aim to maintain this simplicity while providing even more powerful features. One area I'm also working on is providing insightful statistics that GitHub doesn’t offer. For example, in our company, developers complained about long wait times for reviews. So, we introduced a KPI that tracks the time from opening a pull request to merging it, and we’ve been working to systematically reduce this time. Codespect can calculate these kinds of metrics and output them as HTML snippets or API endpoints, ready to be embedded anywhere. Thanks for checking it out! I'm excited to hear your thoughts! 🚀
