AudioBook Bot

 My name is Wilson and I’m super excited to announce AudioBook Bot - a tool to turn written works into audio works. AudioBook Bot exists to lower the bar of creating an audiobook so I can listen to more books. 😄 Audiobooks are a great alternative to reading when you don't have time or would like to hear a good story while doing the dishes, folding laundry, cooking dinner, etc. (Plus for me, I don't fall asleep listening to audiobooks). Audiobooks also expand reading access to those who are vision impaired. Some authors, especially self-published or indie authors, don't have an audiobook to go with their written work. This is because it is time consuming and the costs average well over $3000 for an 8 hour book. For those who don't want to pay cash up front, they could share revenue with the voice actors, but that comes with its own annoyances. It is much cheaper, there is no revenue sharing, and it can be completed in a fraction of the time. The ability to use multiple voices for a richer experience is the cherry on top. We are in the process of building some web tools, but in the meantime we are looking for some index customers who want their audiobook created for free! Since our customer facing tool is non-existent, the process is currently more of a white glove affair but in the future we envision a self service portal where you can test out voices, regenerate oddly voiced sections, or in the case of less complex books, complete them with the one click of a button.
