We built AstroBase to prove that onchain gaming can be fast, fun, and transparent. Most Web3 games focus on speculation; we wanted to bring back pure skill-based gameplay, where every action and reward is verifiable onchain. AstroBase is a competitive 3D space game built natively on Base. It runs on a modern stack — Next.js, Three.js, React Three Fiber, and Solidity smart contracts — to deliver smooth gameplay directly in the browser. No installs, no friction, just play and compete. What makes this launch unique is how accessible it is. You can jump into a real onchain game, pay a small entry fee, and compete for ETH rewards — with everything fully transparent and auditable on Base. We’re proud of how we’ve merged real-time 3D gameplay with blockchain transparency. Every score and every prize distribution is publicly verifiable.
