ASK turns podcasts, books, stories, and expertise into interactive AI companions. Explore ideas, ask follow-up questions, challenge assumptions, and keep conversations alive after the original content ends. Creators can also launch their own AI companions in minutes, powered by IAYS: a Cognitive OS for governed, owner-controlled AI expertise.

Hi Product Hunt 👋
I’m Manuel, founder of IAYS — the platform behind ASK.
ASK started from a simple observation:
We spend hours consuming podcasts, books, videos, courses, and expert content, but once the content ends, the conversation usually ends too.
I wondered:
What if content could remain interactive?
What if you could continue exploring ideas, ask follow-up questions, challenge assumptions, and connect concepts long after the original conversation ended?
That’s what ASK is designed to do.
Today you can explore interactive companions across:
• Podcasts
• Books
• Story Worlds
• Professional Expertise
ASK is intentionally simple on the surface: choose a companion, ask, and continue the conversation. Underneath, it is the first public layer powered by IAYS, the Cognitive OS I’m building for governed, owner-controlled AI expertise.
Some of my favorite examples are podcast-based companions: a specific conversation around longevity, science, technology, or the future of humanity becomes something you can keep exploring interactively after the episode ends.
I’d love your feedback on two things:
1. Which companion would you personally try first?
2. Which creator, book, podcast, or expert domain should exist on ASK next?
Thanks for checking it out 🙏
Curious to hear from everyone: which companion category feels most useful to you?
1. Podcasts
2. Books
3. Story Worlds
4. Professional Expertise
Launch-day challenge: suggest one creator, book, podcast, story world, or expert domain you’d like to see on ASK. I’ll pick one today and turn it into an interactive companion people can try.
Launch-day challenge update 🚀
@dr_saasfounders_net suggested a business-book companion, so I created an unofficial Good to Great companion under the Books section of ASK:
https://ask.iays.ai/agents/good-to-great?q=How+would+the+Hedgehog+Concept+apply+to+my+company%3F
It is intentionally uncurated and unofficial, created in minutes from the book to test the idea: can a business book become something people can interact with and apply to their own context?
Try one of the predefined questions or ask your own — I’d love to know whether this feels useful.
Launch-day update 🚀
Several people asked for a more practical policy/compliance example, so I made an EU AI Act Policy Agent public under the Experts section of ASK.
It is designed for founders, product teams, AI builders, and operators who want to understand what the EU AI Act may mean for an AI product, agent, or workflow.
You can ask about risk classification, transparency duties, GPAI, high-risk systems, provider/deployer responsibilities, documentation, governance, and launch readiness.
This is not legal advice — it is a practical policy agent to help teams ask better questions and identify where legal or compliance review may be needed.

Example from today: I created a Good to Great companion in a few minutes and asked it to analyze IAYS, my company, through Jim Collins’ frameworks.
This is the part of ASK I’m most excited about: books and expert frameworks don’t have to stay static. They can become interactive lenses you can apply to real companies, projects, decisions, or ideas.
