ArtRack is the answer to the question, "Why can't tech be used to empower artists rather than profit off of them?" It is a desktop application available for a one time fee of $3: no subscription, no tracking, no data mining, no freemium or tiered pricing.

Like so many of us, I lost my gallery gig during the pandemic. With the loss of the job, I also lost the ability to use my gallery's software to generate my own inventory lists and invoices. So I decided I'd make my own app. My goal here is not to make money, rather to help my fellow artists. I consider this an art action. It hasn't been easy, but three years later I'm launching ArtRack, an image based inventory management desktop application for artists and anyone who wants to organize a collection. I wanted to offer it for free to be a complete disruptor, but in order to get it completed I teamed up with micropayment geniuses UKey who have built a platform for accepting payments for 3 dollars and less. ArtRack is a desktop only app which costs a whopping $3. For the time being you need a US phone number to access. It is a local app which means no cloud: no tracking, no data mining, no subscription, and no false promise of freemium. All the other apps offer an "artist" price which happens to be the most limited. This is crazy because artists create the work!!!! As we all advance in our careers why can't we empower others along the way! Artistcially yours Ted

Hi Ted, I'm so impressed with ArtRack. It's clear that you put a lot of thought and care into making it a valuable tool for artists. I especially appreciate that you've made it a local app, so there's no tracking, data mining, or subscription fees. I think it has the potential to be a really valuable tool for the art community. Cheers, Uday P.S. The team at UKey is glad to have played a part with the one-time payment aspects of downloading ArtRack.

Congratulations on the launch of ArtRack! It's inspiring to hear your story of turning adversity into an opportunity to support fellow artists. Your dedication to creating a user-friendly, affordable desktop application is commendable. It's refreshing to see a disruptor in the market, especially one that prioritizes user privacy with a local app that avoids cloud storage, tracking, and data mining. Best of luck with your app, and may it continue to support and empower artists in their journeys!
