What do you think? …

Gilbert Pellegrom
Hi. I'm Gilbert the founder of Artisan. Would love some feedback on the app if you have time.
Nathan Baschez
Hi Gilbert! Awesome product name. On the mobile site I would love to see more screenshots. Not sure if they are scaled down and I only see a peek because it's mobile or if it's like that on the full site too.

Hi Gilbert @gilbitron the landing page makes me think the product is going to be beautiful and totally minimalist, however I feel it's missing a full screenshot so I can get a feel of the project-wide snapshot. Specifically in our case, we'd be dropping Trello to try this, and it'd be good to see if there's an equivalent "flow" view. Other than Trello, who would you say is your main competitors?
Gilbert Pellegrom
@nbashaw Thanks. The screens are the same on full size. They are just "half" screenshot to show a preview. @liamgooding Great to hear you are considering coming on board. Signing up for the free trial is pretty easy and gives a much better feel for the app than a screenshot, but obviously other folks feel the same way as you do so might change to full screenshots on the marketing site. Our main competitors at the moment would be Trello, Basecamp and Jira.

From what I can see, it looks like your biggest competitor would be Asana due to how minimal it is.
Gilbert Pellegrom
@ffumarola In a design sense maybe but Asana and Flow are more "todo" apps than I want Artisan to be. I see Artisan as a "todo" app but with way more structure.
Frank Fumarola
As a user of Asana, Trello, and Jira and having just signed up for Artisan, I don't really see how this is anything but an even more light weight Asana? Don't get me wrong, that has its merits and looks like it is executed well! Like, really well. But I would never consider this to be a competitor to Jira or Trello. At least not in my ~25 person teams workflow.
